This beautifully appointed 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath home is incredibly cozy, yet roomy and perfect for up to 10 special guests. This lovely property has large windows surrounding the home, letting in an abundance of visually stunning natural light, and postcard view scenery. Enjoy a summer morning cup of coffee on the sunny back patio next to the cascading pond. Unwind with an evening glass of wine, or read by the fire in the living room on chilly winter nights. THE AREA
The Gleneagle neighborhood is nestled in a well established community with all original crafted homes. Located in Northern Colorado Springs and surrounded by a fast growing landscape of new local businesses, exciting attractions and one of a kind restaurants populating the region you are sure to feel you are tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but still have all the comfy amenities you need.
It is a quick 5 minutes to the entrance of The Air Force Academy. The Gleneagle community has walking trails and there is an adjacent open space with trails just to the south of the property. Another quick 5 minute drive to nearby attractions includes Top Golf, IFly Indoor Skydiving, Air 360 Trampolines, Magnum Shooting Range and the zippy go-karts at Overdrive Racing is sure to keep everyone entertained. Outdoor and cultural adventures include a 30 minute drive to the famous Garden of the Gods park, 35 minutes to the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum, Cave of the Winds Mountain Park and the entrance to the iconic Pikes Peak (there is a new visitor center at the summit). Explore the nearby north region’s Old West heritage by panning for gold at the Western Museum of Mining & Industry. The prestigious Broadmoor and charming Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (you can hand feed the giraffes!) is 30 minutes south off the main highway I-25.

There is a statuesque piano for the serious and talented musician, and large comfy leather furnishings in the living room will envelop you as you sing along to your favorite classics. The sound system is throughout the interior of the house and in the backyard and front exterior seating area. It is compatible with most music apps. The spacious dining room table has seating for 10 and has a lined wall of 6 large viewing windows for your dining pleasure. Memories of gatherings will be made here.

This lovely kitchen has a wonderful French Country cottage feel. Painted in soft palettes of greens and creams, cooking will seem more relaxing while preparing meals for those you love. This kitchen has all amenities and is awaiting your recipes of family and friendships. The cozy sitting room adjacent to the kitchen and breakfast nook perfectly compliment each other for gathering while cooking, connecting and spending quality time together.
THE GARDEN PATIO
Dining Al Fresco on a warm summer evening can be one of the many highlights for your vacation. Plenty of room to sit back, relax, and listen to the rustle of the wild grasses, as you watch the sun finds its way home for the night.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house exceeded our expectations. The layout was a bit unique as it's an older home, but no worries there. We loved everything about our stay here. The home is very spacious with a lot of shared space to visit with family. The back yard with a hot tub, fire pit, and table was well used. We loved sitting around the fire pit in the evening while some were in the hot tub right next to it. The wireless and IT were cutting edge in the house. We loved that you could "cast" music to various rooms, fire pit area, or the whole house. We had never seen a setup like that, but we used it frequently after figuring it out. We had one small issue with a Nest thermostat, but that was immediately resolved after calling our contact. We were in the area to attend Parent Weekend at USAFA, and this location was perfect. It is a very short drive to the North gate, shopping, restaurants, and groceries. This was our last parent weekend, and we wish we would have found this place years sooner. If we had a reason, we would stay here again without question. We highly recommend this rental.
